Green roofs, also known as “living roofs”, recreate natural soil and vegetation conditions on a building.

Green roof absorbs carbon monoxide, increases life span and protects roof’s surface from the UV rays, prevents construction from overheating and temperature fluctuations,suppresses noise, increases fire resistant capabilities, partially reduces water run-off helping to decrease pressure on drainage systems.

Werner Janikowo offers specialist torch-on antiroot membrane (Przeciwkorzenny Werner PYE PV250 S52) as a part of a green roof system. This membrane is designed to effectively waterproof and prevent penetration of roots.
